Welcome to the official Penn State Cycling Club blog! After a few dormant years it was revived last spring to help connect with our alumni and potential new members. Expect to see meeting recaps, race reports, helpful articles, and other information about cycling in and around State College!
August 26th was the first meeting of the school year for the Penn State Cycling Club. Over 40+ students showed up to 158 Willard, and along with a list familiar faces there were a whole lot of new ones. At our first meeting president Sam Carroll covered topics such as the history of the club and what it takes to be a member, as well as touching on some of the community and beginner friendly events that the club hosts annually. Although he had a lot to cover he kept the meeting short so that new and veteran members could socialize afterwards.
Below are some of the key points from last nights meeting along with the links pertaining to them. Please feel free to reach out to your club officers if you have any questions!
